24 More Days!!

But who's counting!?  I can't believe it's almost time for our little guy to make his grand entrance.  I'm very much looking forward to being able to move normally again!  We are on weekly doctors visits now and tomorrow we have our last ultrasound.  We are excited to see him again and to find out approx how much he weighs and every little detail they can tell us about him.  We finally got his room completed and all of our bags are packed for the hospital.  Now it's the waiting game.

Kind of blurry, but you can't miss it!

And here was our helper...

Speaking of our little princess Belle, if it isn't one thing it's another with her.  While we were home for the wedding, we had brought Belle up to the cabin with us.  Well, it's tick season and she hasn't been treated, so of course we were constantly picking ticks off of her.  Last week, she was limping while walking (and no not the leg she had surgery on) so I took her to the vet to get checked.  Sure enough, she has lymes disease.  So, she is now on medication for the next month and then will get rechecked.  The poor thing, I'm just glad one of us didn't get it!

We have also been busy making home improvements.  It feels so good when we can check one thing off the list.  The latest was our new lawn and landscaping in the front yard.  We only did the front because we are putting a patio in the back eventually, so it seemed pointless to sod until we figure out what we are doing back there.

Now that the sod has taken, it looks nicer and greener than in these pictures.

Our next project is the a new fence.  We are replacing our falling down wood fence in the back yard with white vinyl.  It should make a world of difference back there.  Joe just got done taking down the old fence and the new one should be installed either this week or next.  Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Otherwise, we are patiently awaiting Jacob's arrival.  Joe's a bit more patient than I am:)   Hopefully, the next time I blog I can tell you all about it!  Take care and thanks for checking in!
